Just getting started with officiating lacrosse in Utah? You are at the right spot! Below are the steps you will need to take in order to be prepared and meet all the requirements for officiating
- Register as a new ULOA official here
- This will allow our assignor to add you to our Arbiter scheduling software (how games are assigned and you get paid) and for the board of directors to know who you are and get in-touch with you
- Registered with UHSAA (that will get you on their Arbiter account)
- Annual renewal needed
- Register at www.arbiterpay.com
- Attend initial training and subsequent training listed here
- Review ALL ULOA Training Resources on ULOA website
- Purchase Uniform
- Checklist can be found here
- Pass the NFHS exam-Open Book, Annual Tests (this page has detailed information about tests)
- (non UHSAA games) Become a member with US Lacrosse here, if not already a member
- Annual renewal needed
- Verify email by logging into account at www.USLacrosse.org
- Email officials@USLacrosse.org and ask them to add ‘official’ to your membership (if you are already registered as a player/coach).
- Once this is completed, you should see the USL logo under your picture on your Arbiter profile page. If this does not appear, there is an issue linking your arbiter and your USL account. Email officials@USLacrosse.org for assistance.
NOTE: ULOA does NOT currently train or assign YOUTH lacrosse. Please visit the Intermountain Lacrosse site for details on how to get started becoming a youth official.
