The Utah Lacrosse Officials Association (ULOA) was founded in 2013 by a number of lacrosse enthusiasts in Salt Lake City in an effort to promote lacrosse officiating in Utah.
The ULOA has four main goals:
- To provide game officials for the sport of men’s and youth lacrosse, in the State of Utah
- To instruct and educate players, coaches, parents, and fans of the sport of lacrosse and the rules governing play
- To train, educate, and certify persons for officiating the sport of men’s and youth lacrosse
- To promote the growth and development of the sport of lacrosse in the State of Utah
ULOA members officiate both Utah Lacrosse Association (ULA), Utah High School Lacrosse League (UHSLL) contests, and boys youth lacrosse games in Utah. ULOA members are independent contractors.
